Stag Group Discusses Ways Leaders can Inspire Innovation

Innovation is the future, and innovative minds are the driving forces behind it. Having innovation and creativity means that you’re strategically able to think outside the box. Each idea you come up with means that much more because you are utilizing your brain power to portray something that can be possible. “Leaders are successful in their fields because they know their ideas count and that changes matter. The notion of having great ideas means that you’re able to provide change or see something that another person does not see,” says Kirsty Pennal, managing director of Stag Group. At Stag Group we value ideas, creativity and the bravery to make sure you speak out if you believe your vision is excellent. Everyone needs to be able to have the courage to say that they can inspire innovation.

In the business world, innovation is the key to the future. Take the example of Elon Musk — he has a vision that is far greater than anyone else can see. Due to his brilliant and almost fascinatingly crazy ideas, he is a visionary. He sees the future as a potential for human beings, and he sees them living beyond earth. He even says that if that is not what is in store for humans that life is boring. That type of creativity and mindset is only available to the most significant individuals, those that dare to dream beyond the walls and break barriers of possibility. “Being a leader means to inspire innovation. There are various ways to do this. Many of which we can do while we’re just sitting around. Even jotting down the smallest ideas can make the biggest difference,” says Kirsty Pennal of Stag Group.

According to Success magazine, one of the ways in which leaders can inspire motivation is “Be the solution: Progressive leaders ask workers to be the solution. Note that I didn’t say to be part of the solution. They need to be the solution. When the assumption is that the manager is going to facilitate the solution, it no longer becomes the team’s responsibility to get it done. Innovative leaders immerse their teams in the problem so they can experience its impact and require the team to find a way out.” This is just an example of what leaders can do to inspire motivation. Most great leaders can encourage ideas using simple methods. “Even by merely working together can have the most significant effect of innovation,” says Kirsty Pennal of Stag Group.
